Faye Brown, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born June 22, 1925, in Chicago. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired candy company officer worker.
She is survived by her husband, Sam; and one daughter, Jesse Lynn Hanley of Malibu, Calif.

Paul Edward Burger
Paul Edward Burger, 81, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1918, in Iowa. A resident for three years, he was an electrical engineer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Janet Patton of Henderson; one sister, Mrs. Berry of Iowa; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mississippi. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Maria Felicitas Cabrera
Maria Felicitas Cabrera, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 20, 1922, in California. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Tiburcio Ceballos and Daniel Cabrera; three daughters, Avelina Ramirez, Maria Cabrera and Anna Houtron; two brothers, Cipriano Cabrera and Francisco Cabrera; one sister, Maria Cabrera; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at noon today at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Gregory L. Campbell
Gregory L. Campbell, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1952, in Kansas. A resident for 15 years, he was a hotel manager.
He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Joy Farris of Oklahoma and Noelle Campbell and Cindy Speigle, both of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Donald and Richard, both of Kansas, and Thomas of Missouri.

James Carter, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Massachusetts. A resident for many years, he was a supervisor in the plastics industry.
He is survived by one daughter, Priscilla Mier of Las Vegas.

Daryl William Chapin
Daryl William Chapin, 27, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 22, 1972, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, he was a dishwasher at Beanos Casino.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Weitzel, one sister, Danielle Chapin, a special uncle, Thomas Chapin, and his grandparents, Rosemary and Lawrence Chapin, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today and one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Camille A. Clay
Camille A. Clay of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born in Philadelphia. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one brother, John Peter Viola of Los Angeles.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 336 Cathedral Way. Burial will be private.
William Collins
William Collins, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A retired stage producer and a World War II Army veteran, he was born Oct. 22, 1922, in St. Louis.
He is survived by one son, Michael Collins of Phoenix; and two grandchildren.

Sam Charles Dase
Sam Charles Dase, 85, of Downey, Calif., died Oct. 29, 1999, in Downey. He was born May 17, 1917, in Cheyenne, Wyo. A former Las Vegas resident for 50 years, he was a retired Union Pacific conductor/brakeman, a member of the Firestone Club and Bellflower's Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Theodore Dase.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Aletha; two daughters, Anita Pounders of Raleigh, N.C., and Brianne Poole of Las Vegas; four sons, Frank, Phillip, John and Sam, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Antonia "Toni" Martin of Long Beach, Calif., and Anona "Nonie" Dase of Utah; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Phyllis A. Evans
Phyllis A. Evans, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born March 24, 1926, in Oneonta, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Linda Carle of Carrollton, Texas; two sisters, Ruth De Ruzza of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Doris Patterson of Leesburg, Fla.; one brother, Frank Lavech of Colchester, Conn.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Willie Mae Felder
Willie Mae Felder, 75, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 24, 1923, in Texas. A resident for 64 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Rosie Gean Dailey of Yuma, Ariz., Willie Stean Sweet of Fresno, Calif., Helen Cromwell of Las Vegas and Shirley Ann Holman of North Las Vegas; three sons, Roosevelt Daily of Stockton, Calif., and Melvin Kiles and Wesley Kiles, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mattie Nunn of Stockton and Leora Long of Yuma; one brother, Ernest Nunn of Stockton; more than 100 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Ronald M. Fink, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 20, 1918, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A resident for 54 years, he was a retired painter, a World War II and Korean War Army veteran and an officeholder at the Painters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two daughters, Carol Fink of Victor, Mont., and Ronda Staley of Las Vegas; one son, Craig Fink of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Isaias Garcia
Isaias Garcia, 83, of Las Vegas died Nov. 16, in the Philippines. A resident for 16 years, he was an auditor for an accounting firm.
He is survived by four sons, Samson Garcia, Nelson Garcia, Wilson Garcia and Johnson Garcia; one daughter, Imelda G. Villabroza; one sister, Elena Coloma; and 13 grandchildren.

Bill W. Gault, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Taft, Calif. A resident for 32 years, he was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Laura Grenier, and two sons, Douglas Gault and Scott Gault, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Pauline Peters of Taft, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Edd Hooser
Edd Hooser, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1918, in Floydada, Texas. A resident for eight months, he was a steam fitter, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Pajarito Lodge 66 in Los Alamos, N.M., and a retired member of Steam Fitters Local 412 in Albuquerque, N.M.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; one son, Mel Hooser of Goleta, Calif.; two daughters, Anna Downs of Las Vegas and Edwina Mathews of White Rock, N.M.; one sister, Leocy Towler of Roswell, N.M.; and seven grandchildren.

Essie Jacobs, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 11, 1925, in Pine Bluff, Ark. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired retail cashier.
She is survived by two sons, David Walker and Michael Jacobs, both of Las Vegas; four daughters, Gloria Smith and Sheila King, both of Las Vegas, Linda Thomas of Dallas and Janice Sylve and Los Angeles; two sisters, Lessie Carter of Dallas and Lottie Hogan of Hot Springs, Ark.; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Edwin Joseph Kahanek
Edwin Joseph Kahanek, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Texas. A resident for 33 years, he was an inspector for the Nevada Test Site, an Army veteran and a member of the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; three sons, Kelly Kahanek, William Wayne Paul and Steven Bruce Paul; two daughters, Renee Melton and Lee Ann Carroll; two sisters, Irene Malcik and Dorothy Machycek; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled 1-3 p.m. today at the family residence. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Martha Lee Krouch
Martha Lee Krouch, 74, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Missouri. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; and one son, Robert Chris Krouch of Henderson.

James Joseph Lengas, 77, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 22, 1922, in Minnesota. A resident for 50 years, he was a pipefitter and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one grandson, Shane Lengas of Salina, Utah.

Joseph J. Mastrangelo of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born in Chelsea, Mass. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired metal smith for a lighting company and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; two sisters, Lucy Lohman of Las Vegas and Mary Love of Chelsea, Mass.; and one brother, George Mastrangelo of Chelsea.

Louis Lenny Natkin, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 28, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired chef and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Donald Natkin of Toms River, N.J.; and three sisters, Esther Josephs and Nora Ponzio, both of Las Vegas, and Ruth Bevino of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Ruth T. Paige, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 19, 1920. A resident for three years, she was a nurse.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas Paige of Kentucky, Lucious Paige of Ohio, Ralph Paige of Georgia and Andre Paige of Las Vegas; six daughters, Jonnie Dixon and Lillie Foster, both of California, Barbara A. Paige of Hawaii, Dorothy Paige and Mary Ann Scott, both of Georgia, and Loretta Little of Las Vegas; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Glenn Reed, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1927, in Mount Pleasant, Pa. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired hotel cook and change person, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by one brother, George Karaffa, and one sister, Sandra, both of Las Vegas.

Sherman Solomon, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a men's clothing firm and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ina; one daughter, Debi Simpson of Brea, Calif.; two sons, Barry Solomon of Henderson and Steve Jeffrey Solomon of Lake Wylie, S.C.; two sisters, Rose Kantor of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Lillian Golden of Chicago; one brother, Theodore Solomon of Tybie, Ga.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Joann Wilk, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Detroit. A resident for five years, she was a food preparer.
She is survived by one daughter, Audra Danzak of Las Vegas; three sons, Stephen Wilk of Las Vegas, David Wilk of Hazel Park, Mich., and Brian Wilk of Warren, Mich.; one brother, Ronald Pawlicki of Sterling Heights, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Aaron Williams, 30, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born July 9, 1969, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a laborer in the construction industry and a member of Teamsters Local 631.
He is survived by one son, Aaron Williams II of California; one daughter, Johnny Williams Jr. of Las Vegas; his mother, Zarita Tyree, and one brother, George Tyree, both of North Las Vegas; and his grandfather, Johnny Williams Jr. of Las Vegas.
