Arthur Ackerman, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 25, 1925, in Philadelphia. A resident for six years, he was a retired owner-operator of a manufacturing plant, a World War II Army veteran and a 32nd Degree Mason.
