Washington Mutual is holding its first Las Vegas job fair Thursday. The nation's eighth-largest bank hopes to recruit about 200 people to staff 20 new branches slated to open next year.
The job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community College of Southern Nevada's Cheyenne Campus at 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Washington Mutual is looking to fill positions ranging from customer service to management.
As a result of the branches' retail emphasis, company officials say previous banking experience is not required for some of the new positions.
