Southwest Gas Corp. of Las Vegas said its customer base has surpassed 1.25 million.
The company has been adding customers at a 5 percent annual growth rate for the last six years, three times the national average. The company's service area includes some of the nation's fastest-growing cities, including Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson.
The Southern Nevada division, with 370,000 customers, is the company's fastest-growing division, Southwest spokesman Roger Buehrer said.
