Tennis: Rebels go for ITA title

UNLV's Urska Radanovic won her second-round qualifying singles match Thursday and joined four of her teammates in the main draw of the ITA Southern California Championships at Irvine, Calif.
After enjoying a bye in the first round, Radanovic breezed past Jill Katzenberg of UC Santa Barbara, 6-3, 6-2, to advance.
Opening play today will be UNLV's Katarina Malec, Veronica Goude, Britta Gabl and Marianne Bakken. In doubles, UNLV will send two teams into action after earning first-round byes Thursday.
