Mikes Magic March - Rail run for 2nd at Bay Meadows in last, 2nd in two of prior four outings, ships south now, draws good rail post, gets hustling Pedroza here. Value Play -- A Good Dancer
2nd Race -- Foxy Sneakers - No threat 4th in restricted grass stakes at Anita in last, 3rd in Fairplex stakes before that, draws better spot here, hustling Pedroza returns on Carava trainee, Foxy sneaks a win? Star Maker - 3rd in Fresno sprint stakes in last, chased and finished 2nd three races back, broke maiden at Hollypark in May, reunites with winning rider Desormeaux here, needs clean trip from rail post. Value Play -- Chaffee's Prospect
3rd Race -- Memoree - Set pace and second best in last, tracked and second best before that, 3rd three races back, sharp works since raced with most recent bullet drill on the 10th, Gomez stays on Sadler trainee. Gentle Words - Speed from inside post and weakened to 4th in last, speed and outfinished when 2nd before that---both in route races, now shortens back to sprint, Nakatani for trainer Canani. Value Play -- Royal Debut
4th Race -- Nasrudin - Chased, led and caught when 2nd by a neck on Anita lawn in last, runner-up three of most recent five outings, in the quinella half of 8 starts at this trip with a pair of wins, 3 of 5 lifetime victories on Hollypark lawn, ready with Pincay returning. Siouxrouge - Blocked from rail post and no threat in last, most recent victory was over this course in late-June, draws rail post again, winning rider Flores returns, could trip out with clean run. Value Play -- Jadada
5th Race -- Moon Beaming -- Dueled lead and game effort for 2nd at this trip in last, 4-wide 5th before that, debut 3rd three races back, cagey trainer brings Garcia back on beaten favorite here. Goalcrease - Wide early from outside post and rallied late for 2nd with best career effort in last, draws inner post here, hustling Puglisi takes over as Garcia vacates to top pick. Value Play -- Martial Mikey
6th Race -- Prized Buy - Made hidden late rally for no-threat 6th in last, circled 5-wide with come-from-behind photo-finish score on Bay Meadows lawn before that, in the quinella half of 6 career turf starts, Desormeaux takes over on Bonde trainee, good spot for action. Recklesswarrant - No threat even run while 5-wide in needed outing in last, broke maiden at a mile on Del Mar sod before that, P. Val. takes over on Sise trainee, had tightener, beware. Value Play -- Bimbo's Kiss
7th Race -- Time and Again - Off slowly and check in 4th in last, stalked and outfinished while 5th splitting the field before that, broke maiden sprinting at Hollypark late-June, Atkinson now on Carava trainee. La Vie En Rose - Dueled lead and weakened to 4th routing in last, 3-wide bid and outfinished when 3rd sprinting before that, broke maiden at this distance at Del Mar, Garcia stays on Abrams trainee, needs clean trip from rail post. Value Play -- Simply Hot
8th Race -- Apremont - Speedy runner returns to racing wars here, in the quinella in all 5 lifetime starts with a trio of victories, won fresh twice, bred to like lawn and should love this trip, draws rail post, McCarron returns on McAnally trainee. Accomplice - Australian import won U.S. debut down the hill at Anita then just missed while 2nd by a neck at this course and trip early-June, won most recent outing at same early-July, returns with nice worktab, another who can win off the shelf. Value Play -- Fearless Pirate
9th Race -- Five Nines - Even 4th in last, no rally 6th before that, in the money 4 of 6 Hollypark tries with a pair of seconds, makes third start back, hustling Valdez aboard, good as any in weak nightcap. Saratoga Assassin - Set pace and weakened to distant 3rd routing in last, speed and close second at Del Mar also routing three races back, now shortens up, pair of nice Hollypark works since raced, rounding to graduation? Value Play -- Hucksterberry Pie
