LV warehouse problems solved

Image Entertainment Inc. of Chatsworth, Calif., reported an increased quarterly net loss today, but said operational problems at its Las Vegas videodisc distribution facility have been corrected.

The company reported a net loss of $842,000, or 5 cents per share, for the quarter ending Sept. 30. One year ago, the company lost $687,000, or 5 cents a share.

To some extent, earnings were impacted by the Las Vegas facility, but Image said the facility had reached expected efficiency by the middle of the quarter.
