Bandits hire Quintin Dailey

Former Chicago Bulls first-round draft pick Quintin Dailey was chosen on Wednesday by the Las Vegas Silver Bandits of the International Basketball League to be the team's color commentator.

He will work with play-by-play man Tim Neverett during home games and also co-anchor the post-game show with veteran NBA broadcaster Marty Rodick.

Dailey was the seventh overall selection of the 1982 NBA Draft. The Las Vegas resident played four years with the Bulls and three seasons each with the Los Angeles Clippers and Seattle SuperSonics.

The Silver Bandits open their inaugural IBL season on Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center. Tickets can be purchased by calling 938-3838 or at the Thomas & Mack Center box office.
