Caesars Palace said it's teaming with Television Broadcasts Ltd. and Designer Productions to present the 12th annual Miss Chinese International Pageant in the Caesars Palace Circus Maximus Showroom next Feb. 5.
Staged in Hong Kong in previous years, the pageant will be broadcast from Las Vegas this year via satellite to Hong Kong, North America and the Far East. The pageant is intended to promote tourism and cultural exchanges between North America and Hong Kong, and will be viewed by approximately 50 million people worldwide.
Approximately 20 contestants, winners of local pageants in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and other Asian countries, will compete before a panel of five judges.
