1st Race -- Wild N Golden - Stalked and 3rd in last, 4-for-9 this year, 1-for-1 at Hollypark, drops a level now and gets a good inside post. Peter's Ballad - 3-wide and outfinished to 3rd while claimed at this level in last, second in return at Bay Meadows before that, hustling Pedroza for trainer Carava now. Value Play -- Halo Romeo
2nd Race -- Hidefromthebride - Part of Baffert-trained entry with Ticket To Fun, stalked 3-wide and outkicked when 4th in last, drops back to claimer now, bullet Hollypark drill since raced, bride to hide from field here? Stormin Bayou - Dueled lead from inside and faded to 5th in last, no response in debut before that, drops to claimer now, good post and hustling Pedroza stays. Value Play -- Sharp Looking Dude
3rd Race -- Harlan's Pleasure - Stalked, led and outfinished when 4th down the hill in needed outing in last, dueled lead and just missed when 2nd by a head sprinting on the main at Del Mar three races back, fits here. Success in Excess - Hopped at the start, rushed up and dueled for the early lead and faded in last, gate-to-wire winner before that, bullet drills continue for Baffert trainee, Flores stays. Value Play -- Tera Kitty
4th Race -- Bud's Golden Girl - Set pace, cleared and gamely held to win as the favorite in last, won at the fair three races back, 6 of 8 career victories at this distance, set to repeat. Miss Traffic - Drew clear to win at Fresno in last, won at this level and distance when claimed at Del Mar three races back, 2-for-4 at Hollypark, reunites with winning rider Pedroza here. Value Play -- Encore Express
5th Race -- Good Fellow Robin - Outrun in Oak Tree Derby in last, close second in restricted Del Mar grass stakes at this distance three races back, won on Golden Gate lawn five races back, fits here. Roundabout - 3rd on Del Mar lawn in last, second on same four races back, McCarron takes over on Greenman trainee, must overcome outside post. Value Play -- Lido
6th Race -- Mr. Reed - Dueled lead early, 3-wide re-bid and 4th in last, 4-wide and no threat in debut before that, adds blinkers for stretchout, should be fowardly placed from outside post, chance to trip out for diploma. Sunny Forecast - Weakened in needed outing in last, 3rd sprinting at Del Mar before that, distant second at this distance four races back, good inside post, takes blinkers off for this. Value Play -- Meghann's Lad
7th Race -- Desert Lady - Second in downhill stakes at Anita off two-month layoff in last, in the quinella 12 of 16 lifetime starts with a half-dozen victories and 6 of 8 at this trip with a trio of wins, Stevens returns on beaten favorite. Morgan J. - 4th in last pair of outings, won sprinting at Del Mar three races back, 2-for-4 at this trip and course, draws good inside post now, McCarron returns on McAnally trainee. Value Play -- Royal Shyness
8th Race -- Greater Greed - 1st time starter by Pine Bluff, solid works for this level with nice 6-panel move on 10/26 and 3-of-33 gate work most recently on the 1st, good post and well placed for debut. This Cats a Flying - Second in last, series of bullet drills at Fairplex continues, 2nd in 4-of-11 starts this year, however, makes 21st career start trying to break maiden here, not much to beat in this. Value Play -- Picacho N. M.
