Ben Barbera

Ben Barbera, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 2, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for seven years, he was a retired air conditioning company foreman.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; three daughters, Catherine Burns of Howard Beach, N.Y., Filipa Magno of New York and Jacqueline DeSantis of Goshen, N.Y.; one brother, Joseph Barbera of New York; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Gary E. Burch

Gary E. Burch, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 9, 1938, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for four years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mitsuko; two sons, Alan K. Kofoed of Victorville, Calif., and Kevin Burch; three daughters, Mari Y. Wortman of Las Vegas, Bobi Bell of Orlando, Fla., and Debra S. Burch; and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Nellis Air Force Base Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Mary J. D'Esposito

Mary J. D'Esposito, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 27, 1927, in Hoboken, N.J. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, James Killmer of Las Vegas; one daughter, Darlene Zega of Long Valley, N.J.; one brother, Michael Verdi of Florida; three sisters, Kay O'Conner of Las Vegas and Jean Romano and Lena Carey, both of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Donna Funderburk

Donna Funderburk, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 26, 1955, in Richmond, Calif. A resident for 21 years, she was a police dispatcher.

She is survived by her mother, Zona Funderburk of El Sobrante, Calif.; and two brothers, Allen Funderburk of Pinole, Calif., and Wayne Funderburk of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Louise Henrietta Gould

Louise Henrietta Gould, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 25, 1908, in Kansas. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

Eleanor Mary Green

Eleanor Mary Green, 78, a former resident of Searchlight for 20 years and most recently a resident of Henderson for one year, she was a real estate saleswoman and member and past president of the Veterans Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Byron; one son, Richard Byron Green of New Mexico; one daughter, Vickie Ann Green Humphrey of Chino Hills, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Searchlight Bible Church. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Edward Laurie Lancaster

Edward Laurie Lancaster, 82, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born July 9, 1917, in Bristol, England. A resident for nine years, he was a retired electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis E.; one daughter, Lynn Riggs of Ontario, Calif.; four sons, Michael Lancaster of Placerville, Calif., Teddy Lancaster of Huntington Beach, Calif., Robert Lancaster of Henderson and Ricky Lancaster of Mission Viejo, Calif.; one sister, Mary Lancaster of Cambridge, England; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be in California. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Kathryn Lynn Mann

Kathryn Lynn Mann, 42, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 24, 1957, in Winona, Minn. A resident for 20 years, she was a casino supervisor for the MGM Grand.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jason Mann.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; one daughter, Amy Snider, and one son, Richard Mann II, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Sandra Graciela McKeighan

Sandra Graciela McKeighan, 29, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 14, 1970, in Uruguay. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher; one son, Jacob Ryan McKeighan, and one daughter, Amy Sabrina McKeighan, both of Las Vegas; her parents, Omar and Mirta Laborda, three brothers, Alejandro Laborda, Carlos Laborda and Gabriel Laborda, and three sisters, Roxana Laborda, Hortencia Barraza and Sabrina Laborda, all of Argentina.

Srvices were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the Walnut and Carey LDS Chapel. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Richard Moore Jr.

Richard Moore Jr., 43, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1956, in Forest, Miss. A resident for 28 years, he was a kitchen worker.

He is survived by one daughter, LaKisha Williams, his mother, Chetina Chesnut, and two brothers, Eric Moore and James Moore, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Meyarn Moore of Las Vegas and Madelyn Berkley of California; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Lillian Rose Morres

Lillian Rose Morres, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Connecticut. A resident for 26 years, she was an office manager.

She is survived by her husband, David Morres of Las Vegas; one son, Barry I. Crystal of Honolulu; and two grandchildren.

Herbert C. Myers

Herbert C. Myers, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 28, 1939, in Pottstown, Pa. A resident for 10 years, he was a gaming adman.

He is survived by his wife, Rowena; one daughter, Susan Tokonitz of Pottstown; two stepdaughters, Barbara Olson of Anaheim, Calif., and Terri Norkunas of Tustin, Calif.; two stepsons, John Jennings of Hesperia, Calif., and Ralph Jennings of Anaheim; one brother, Fred Myers of Pottstown; and eight grandchildren.

Jeffrey Lloyd Neslund

Jeffrey Lloyd Neslund, 33, of Las Vegas died Oct. 29 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 4, 1966, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 30 years, he was an electrician.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Julie A. Neslund, and one brother, Rory E. Neslund, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Justine C. Neslund-Runvik of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and her grandfather, Clarence A. Neslund of Rockford.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Jewell Pyron

Jewell Pyron, 85, of Las Vegas died Oct. 30 in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 7, 1914, in Missouri. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired beauty shop owner-operator, a member of Daughters of the Nile 139 and Eastern Star Southgate Chapter 18.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Anthony Saltarelli, 47, of Las Vegas died Oct. 30 in Las Vegas. He was born May 13, 1952. A resident for many years, he was an Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherri Saltarelli and Brenda Saltarelli, both of Oklahoma; and three sons, Tim Saltarelli of Texas and Anthony Saltarelli Jr. and John Saltarelli, both of Oklahoma.

Dorothy L. Simon, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 1, 1927, in Rochester, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Robert L. Hufnagel of Crestline, Calif.; one brother, George Ponter of Pacoima, Calif.; and two sisters, Pearl Ballard of North Hollywood, Calif., and Edna Herring of Santa Clarita, Calif.

Myldred E. Sullivan

Myldred E. Sullivan, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1925, in St. Louis. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired hotel cocktail waitress and a former local real estate broker for 15 years.

She is survived by one son, John Michael Roberts, and one daughter, Janet L. Nowotny, both of Seguin, Texas; one sister, Ruby Wheelanhan of Campbell, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ronnie A. Teer

Ronnie A. Teer, 53, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 27, 1946, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A resident for 36 years, he was a casino porter and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his father, Clyde A. Teer of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Ronalda T. Hays of Niceville, Fla., and Cecelia C. Johns of Findlay, Ohio; and three brothers, Robert F. Teer of Henderson and Clyde A. Teer III and Tommy N. Teer, both of Las Vegas.

A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in El Jen Convalescent Home, 5538 W. Duncan Drive. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.
