Robbery suspect cornered in casino

Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 | 9:34 a.m.

Officers said they haven't made a positive identification of the man they chased inside the Eldorado Hotel Casino late Saturday afternoon.

The man ditched his car outside the casino and ran inside. Police found him about 45 minutes later.

The suspect is accused of leading officers on the chase after a holdup at Walgreen's Drug Store on Kietzke Lane.

A small gun used in the holdup turned out to be a toy, police said.
