UNLV’s O’Reilly on TV

UNLV placekicker Tim O'Reilly, a fifth-year senior from Bishop Gorman High School, will be this week's Burger King national Scholar-Athlete of the Week on ABC-TV.

O'Reilly will be featured during a 30-second halftime feature on all of the network's games. In Las Vegas, the spot is scheduled to run on KTNV TV-13 during the Washington vs. Arizona game, which begins at 12:30 p.m.

An academic All-WAC honoree and a three-year starter, O'Reilly has already earned his bachelor's degree in hotel management and this fall became the first active student-athlete to attend UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law.
