State suspends dealer’s license

Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 | 11:11 a.m.

The Manufactured Housing Division of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry has suspended the sales license of a Las Vegas mobile home dealer.

A hearing is scheduled Dec. 1 for Finley Mobile Home Sales, 2000 S. Lamb Blvd., and its principals, W.A. and Patricia Sowle, to determine if the license should be revoked. The dealership closed Oct. 15 and the Sowles dissolved the corporation.

Finley is accused by the state of stopping payments to investors solicited to help finance purchases of about 350 mobile homes.

The Sowles could not be reached for comment.
