Letter: Red Rock clean-up effort appreciated
Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 | 10:45 a.m.
Without the people of Las Vegas volunteering to help at Red Rock Canyon, this pristine national treasure wouldn't be nearly as nice a place to visit. With more than 1 million visitors a year coming out to Red Rock, it takes a toll on this fragile desert environment.
It's up to all of us to keep Red Rock the same as it is today so that our children and grandchildren can enjoy it the way we do. It's because of the giving people of Las Vegas that Red Rock stays the beautiful place we can all call our own.
