StumbleRoad construction on interstate nears completion

Granite Construction Co. is expected to finish work on the $18.8 million Pyramid Way interchange by the scheduled June 30 completion date.
The project, which began in May 1997, adds a westbound exit from I-80 to Pyramid Way and an eastbound entrance to I-80 from Pyramid Way.
Nevada Department of Transportation spokeswoman Scott Magruder called the project 90 to 95 percent complete, saying the remaining work consists of minor paving, striping and sign installation.
