More boys accuse coach of molesting them

Four more children have accused a former Little League coach of molesting them, according to Metro Police, bringing the number of suspected victims to eight.
"It wouldn't surprise us to hear of more," Lt. Tom Monahan, head of the Crimes Against Youth and Family unit, said this morning. "We know (child molesters) have multiple, multiple victims."
Garen Pearson, 40, has been in the Clark County Detention Center since his arrest April 29 after four boys under the age of 14 accused him of molestation.
He is scheduled for a June 7 arraignment.
Monahan said that since Pearson's initial arrest four more boys under the age of 14 have come forward, some on their own volition after hearing about the arrest and others who were contacted by investigators.
With new charges stemming from the latest accusations, Monahan said Pearson faces almost 80 counts of lewdness with a minor and sexual assault of a minor under the age of 14.
