Joan K. Beeler, 59, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Arizona. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; one son, Chad Butler; four daughters, Debbie Hale, Wendy Butler, Debbie Matthews and Joan Yates; one sister, Jane Thomas; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Chapel, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Lamont J. Bumcrot

Lamont J. Bumcrot, 68, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired truck driver and a Korean War Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Vera G; two daughters, Linda Moore of Denver and Stephanie Wareham of Norman, Okla.; four sons, David Fulton, Michael Marquez and Dale Bumcrot, all of Las Vegas, and Robert Fulton of La Mirada, Calif.; two sisters, Barbara Smith of Parma, Idaho, and Cora Wilfong of Lewiston, Idaho; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Palm Mortuary. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joe D. Flores

Joe D. Flores, 79, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 1, 1920, in San Felipe, Mexico. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired police officer, a member of the Caliani Lions Club and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalia; one son, Jose M. Flores of Las Vegas; one daughter, Rosamaria Rathbun of Salt Lake City; one sister, Josephine Gibsons of Bisbee, Ariz.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1 until 6 p.m. rosary Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday at Palm. Burial will follow in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Adrian Truitt Hines

Adrian Truitt Hines, 2 months and nine days, of Las Vegas, died Thursday. He was born March 11, 1999.

He is survived by his parents, Lori and Paul Hine; three sisters, Precious Hines, Kay Hines and Adrianna Hines, one brother, Paul Hines Jr., his grandparents, Bill and Stephanie Oswald and Kay White, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service was scheduled 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Maurice H. Horwitz

Maurice H. Horwitz, 87, of Palmdale, Calif., died Friday in Van Nuys, Calif. He was born Aug. 19, 1911, in Fargo, N.D. A former resident of Las Vegas, he was a retired education teacher of 20 years and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Annette Daly of Henderson; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 11:30 a.m. until noon Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside service will follow at Palm.

Barbara Virginia Marnach

Barbara Virginia Marnach, 63, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a telephone operator.

She is survived by her husband, George; one son, Ted Wold of Centerville, Md.; four daughters, Sharon Jirak of Stuart, Iowa, Pattie Hastie of Otho, Iowa, Christine Green of Henderson and Diana Marnach of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Nevada Funeral Service Chapel, 2983 Fremont St.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.

Joan McGinley

Joan McGinley, 65, of Las Vegas, died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 17, 1934, in Elizabeth, N.J. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired retail saleswoman.

She is survived by her husband, James D.; three sons, Joseph McGinley and John McGinley, both of Reno, and James F. McGinley of Oklahoma; one daughter, Jeanne Marsh of Reno; three brothers, Roy Marchak of Spring, Texas, James Marchak of Flanders, N.J., and Robert Marchak of Toms River, N.J.; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.

Ronnie Eric 'Buddy' Shirt

Ronnie Eric "Buddy" Shirt, 35, of Pahrump, died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1963, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 14 years, he was an owner and operator of a convention management business and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his wife, Lynette; two daughters, Mallory and Erika Shirt, both of Pahrump; his parents, Linda Shirt of Johnstown, Pa., and Rennie Shirt of Amargosa; two sisters, Carrie Flynt of Virginia and Trina Frasier of Johnstown; and one brother, Shane Shirt of Johnstown.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Pennsylvania.

Earnest Jean Turner

Earnest Jean Turner, 60, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1938, in Colbert, Okla. A resident for 14 years, he was a mail carrier and a retired Vietnam Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; one daughter, Gena P. Curver of Georgia; one son, Patrick P. Turner of Kuwait; four brothers, Carlton Turner, Roosevelt Turner, Donald Turner and Bennard Turner, all of Oklahoma; one sister, Roberta Robinson of Texas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
