National Airlines, a new Las Vegas carrier, said it's introducing National Fare Savers -- a coupon book providing business travelers with significant savings and convenience amenities.
National Fare Savers will sell for $1,000 and include 20 coupons that are redeemable for air travel on National. The booklet also has five upgrade coupons, allowing customers to enjoy first class service.
"National Fare Savers has been created to address the needs of business travelers who are often unable to take advantage of advance purchase tickets," said Mark Suman, senior vice president -- strategic planning. "And, as more businesses refrain from booking first class seats, travelers can appreciate the five upgrade coupons included in the booklet."
National, which is financed largely by Harrah's Entertainment and its Rio hotel-casino subsidiary, plans to begin service this week with flights eventually between Las Vegas and Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York.
