Teen pleads not guilty in friend's death
A Las Vegas teenager has pleaded not guilty to drunken driving and involuntary manslaughter charges from a rollover accident during a Christmas holiday excursion to Mount Charleston that left one friend dead and another seriously injured.

of photos stoppedA Las Vegas model, singer and multimedia entrepreneur who was photographed at a private fashion show at the Comsumer Electronics Show in January has filed a lawsuit to stop the sale of the photos to a German adult magazine.
Tina Le and her Excelente Multimedia Co. filed the lawsuit Thursday asking a District Court to prohibit the unauthorized commercial distribution of photos that were approved for media release only.
Firefighter sues over injury on job
A Clark County firefighter has filed a District Court lawsuit charging that he suffered disabling physical and neurological problems because he had to climb into a partially filled gasoline storage tank to help an injured man.
The lawsuit, filed by Mark Foulke through attorney Al Massi, states that in September 1997 an untrained employee of Ecology Control Industries Inc. became ill while working to clean and repair the interior of the 45-foot- tall tank that is 60-feet in diameter.
Man, credit union file suit over $13,000
A Las Vegas man and the Nevada Federal Credit Union that issued him a Visa Gold card have filed a lawsuit in District Court over the apparent theft of the card and the $13,000 cash advance obtained with it at a Strip casino.
Dennis Shipley's lawsuit is seeking to recover the funds from Dillards International and the Treasure Island hotel-casino.
