Eagles sign ex-Rebel Palelei

The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with unrestricted free-agent offensive lineman and former UNLV standout Lonnie Palelei.
Palelei, 28, played in nine games with the New York Giants last season.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder has played in 28 career National Football League games, including 14 starts, with the Giants, New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers over four seasons. He was a fifth-round selection of Pittsburgh in 1993 after playing collegiately for the Rebels.
