Susan Andrews, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday. She was born Sept. 30, 1945, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 24 years, she was a Clark County School District teacher, a volunteer at Child Haven and a member of Clark County Classroom Teachers Association.
She is survived by her husband, David; one daughter, Amy Massa of Henderson; one son, Jimmy Andrews of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jim Lister of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Paul Lister of Eureka, Ill.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Edward H. Bellman
Edward H. Bellman, 78, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1920, in Cincinnati. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired slot mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Judy Shockey of Loveland, Ohio; two sons, Edward Bellman and Steven Bellman, both of Henderson; three sisters, Dolores Berling and Sister Mildred Marie, both of Cincinnati, and Rose Lange of Dallas; three brothers, Bobby Bellman, Joseph Bellman and Albert Bellman, all of Cincinnati; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Barbara Jeppson Camp
Barbara Jeppson Camp, 80, of Las Vegas died May 12 in a local care center. She was born Jan. 11, 1919, in Brigham City, Utah. A resident for 20 years, she was a hospital emergency room and OB ward nurse for 20 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Helen Erickson of Henderson; three sons, William J. Camp and Gene Camp, both of Las Vegas, and Richard Camp of St. George, Utah; one brother; four sisters; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Friday in the LDS Westcliff Ward, 7800 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Fred M. Cook
Fred M. Cook, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 6, 1922, in Fort Smith, Ark. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired cook and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by four daughters, Cheryl Barrett, Leslie Stage and Tammy Headley, all of Las Vegas, and Jayne Ellis of Yucaipa, Calif.; two sons, George Cook and Kelly Cook, both of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 4400 W. Oakey Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Erma Ida Greiner
Erma Ida Greiner, 86, of Boulder City died Monday in Henderson. She was born July 11, 1912, in Vayland, S.D. A resident for more than 20 years, she was a restaurant cook/owner and was one of 15 children.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph; one brother, Maurice Sass; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Melvin L. Hamilton
Melvin L. Hamilton, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1917, in Hugoton, Kan. A resident for 40 years, he retired as a contractor after 40 years, was a World War II Navy veteran, a lifetime member of the Shriners and a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; one daughter, Sue Schumacher, and two sons, Mel H. Hamilton and Dean Hamilton, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Margaret Oder of Hugoton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Reina Ruth Lang
Reina Ruth Lang, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in New York. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired showgirl and singer at the Sands, Dunes, Riviera and Desert Inn.
She is survived by her mother, Fanny Gentry of Las Vegas; two brothers, Edward Sieman of Las Vegas and Harry Sieman of Florida; one sister, Katherine; and her companions, Evangeline and Jackie Young of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to St. Jude's Ranch for Children Inc., 100 St. Jude, Boulder City, NV 89005.
Anthony William Lillard
Anthony William Lillard, 44, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 25, 1954, in Indiana. A resident for six months, he was an assembly worker in the electronics field.
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Alexander of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Indianapolis. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Charles E. Martus
Charles E. Martus, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Bisbee, Ariz. A resident for one year, he was a retired tavern owner-operator and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge of Vallejo, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; one daughter, Ethel Sturgeon of Yuba City, Calif.; one son, Leroy Martus of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Anne Marie Joseph of Loveland, Colo.; two stepsons, Kenneth Markel of Concord, Calif., and James Markel of Vacaville, Calif.; one sister, Jenny Leyva, and two brothers, Leo Martus and Robert Martus, all of Colton, Calif.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Myfarway T. McMahon
Myfarway T. McMahon, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 26, 1920, in Boone, N.C. A resident for five years, she was a retired self-employed hairdresser and former member of Business and Professional Women's Club of Lenoir, N.C.
She is survived by two sons, Aubrey C. Correll of Statesville, N.C., and Larry H. Correll of Las Vegas; one daughter, Norma Jean Perry of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Cathy M. Dennis of New Jersey and Grace McDonald of Florida; one brother, Edsel F. Tate and Dawson G. Tate, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Jean Bean of Charlotte; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Boone. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Russel Leonard Olson
Russel Leonard Olson, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1956, in Iowa. A resident for many years, he was a teacher.
He is survived by his mother, Anne Olson, and one sister, Brenda Davis, both of Iowa.

Dave Parker
Dave Parker, 53, of Las Vegas died May 9 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1945, in Tennessee. A resident for many years, he was a water purification salesman and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his father, D.J. Bartholomew, and two sisters, Patricia Boone and Carol Bowden, all of Arkansas.
Burial will be in Texas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Tom Pilate
Tom Pilate, 40, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1958, in Yankton, S.D. A resident for six years, he was a Golden Nugget kitchen worker and a member of the Culinary Union.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Titus-Pilate; one daughter, Veronica Pilate, and one son, Darrick Pilate, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Rosalie Rasmussen of Germany and Terri Pilate of San Francisco; and one brother, Larry Pilate of Boise, Idaho.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ervin A. Plencner
Ervin A. Plencner, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 15, 1923, in South Bend, Ind. A resident for 15 years, he was a police officer, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and past commander of American Legion Post 357.
He is survived by his wife, Romentta; three daughters, Donna, Christine and Shirley; one brother, Raymond Plencner of Michigan; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in South Bend. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Olaf L. Reitan
Olaf L. Reitan, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Pierce, Idaho. A resident for four years, he was a restaurant bartender and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two brothers, Joe Reitan of Idaho and Coleman Reitan of Texas; and one sister, Verla of Washington state.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private services.
William Terkla
William Terkla, 80, of Las Vegas died May 4 in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1918, in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was a disabled veteran.
Graveside services were scheduled at 8:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Frank Zemel Sr.
Frank Zemel Sr., 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 9, 1918, in New York City. A resident for more than 45 years, he was a retired casino pit boss, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a life master in bridge and ham operator K7RGC for many years.
He is survived by his wife, M. Ann; two sons, Frank Zemel Jr. of Las Vegas and Benny Zemel of Reno; three daughters, Micki Zemel of Las Vegas, Valerie Zemel of Reno and Frances Fleming of Carson City; and 12 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to organizations that benefit abused children.
