Letter: Coroner’s inquest was unprofessional

Clearly -- using Nevada law -- all a cop has to say is that he believed he was in danger in order to get a "justifiable homicide" ruling at a coroner's inquest.
Claiming the dead man used foul language and inferring he was drug crazed after being shot in the back at least four times helped to create a threatening image along with a well rehearsed (one-sided) version of what took place. (We all know dead men don't talk).
The inquest was so unprofessional -- it was a joke and the lack of remorse shown by Officer Bruce Gentner says a lot about the kind of person he is.
There are too many questions that need to be answered.
