Reno Air to drop Las Vegas flight
Wednesday, May 5, 1999 | 10:16 a.m.
Reno Air's expanded West Coast schedule means more flights for three cities, but one fewer daily flight between Las Vegas and Reno.
The company announced one additional nonstop flight each between San Francisco and Orange County, Calif.; Los Angeles and San Jose, Calif.; and Seattle and Anchorage, Alaska.
Reno Air, a subsidiary of American Airlines, will discontinue its late flights between Las Vegas and Reno as a result of the schedule shuffling. By ending an 8:35 p.m. departure from Las Vegas and a 10:22 p.m. departure from Reno, the airline will now have five flights between the two cities.
The reduction leaves Reno Air with 23 daily departures from Las Vegas.
