Robert Shoffner was appointed group president of Citibank's consumer bank operations in California and Nevada.
Shoffner, who is based in San Francisco, most recently worked on Citibanking North America's national sales team, working on developing bank products, resolving compensation issues and recruiting.
Shoffner replaces Bill Silver, who left the bank at the beginning of the year. The position had been filled on an interim basis by William Mullins, who took a corporate post in New York.
Citibank has 78 branches in 68 California communities and four branches and a community-lending center in Las Vegas.
