Wednesday's races
FIRST RACE:
Maui Bopper - Gets Derby winner Antley, good post and well placed, Bopper topper here. Ve Chipper - Hustling Flores aboard, lasix and middle post should give this one tactical position, maybe Chipper instead of Bopper. Value Play -- Shyla's Diamond
2ND RACE:
Isle of France - Gets good rail post and Nakatani should have him placed well, a factor throughout. Dancing Rhythm - Should get good stalking trip from outside post, Black aboard, may have enough rhythm to dance to winners circle. Value Play -- Tamise
3RD RACE:
Broadway Sham - Gets good post for short run to turn, blinkers on, Flores aboard, needs clean break to be the factor. Acefromouterspace - Gets bad shake in outside post draw, should roll on out of there with Nakatani aboard, could be diploma bound with good trip. Value Play -- Turnaround Time
4TH RACE:
Esconce - Draws outside for this sprint, Antley should manage a good position down backstretch, may trip out for the win here. Lake Veronica - Flores certain to hustle her away here, should be a pace factor, fits well in this spot. Value Play -- Axtec
5TH RACE:
Sycamore Springs - Hard knocker draws inside post here, Stevens should have him in the mix throughout, needs clean trip to be a factor. Hodson - Another that draws inner post, Nakatani may have this one in the thick of it from the start, may prove to be in best spot late. Value Play -- Tipsy Time
6TH RACE:
Splendid Isolation - Gets good post assignment for the turf route, should be able to pick spot and work from there, Nakatani knows the trip. Plaza de Toros - Draws inside spot here, Gomez should have him placed well early, de Toros has good chance to be de winner. Value Play -- Roget's Run
7TH RACE:
Sagacity - Give another try here, draws outside to size up trip, Nakatani should be able to do just what he wants, that may be good enough here. Point Break - Should make impact in this spot, Stevens aboard, has a chance to trip out from inner post. Value Play -- Belle of Humboldt
8TH RACE:
Prize Native - Draws inner post for route nightcap, Gonzalez should be able to save ground and may trip out for diploma here. Gio's Tumi - When Eddie D. sticks around for a last race maiden claimer it's always a good sign, has good post, Tumi graduation time? Value Play -- Scooter Magruder
