Investigators still looking for cause of explosion
Tuesday, May 4, 1999 | 3:14 a.m.
Fire officials initially believed last Thursday's explosion at the Maaco building on East Second Street was a natural gas explosion.
But so far, they haven't been able to find the gas leak. The line leading to the building has been checked and no leak was discovered.
Three men were in the building when the explosion occurred. Two were only shaken up. One was hospitalized.
