A German airline inaugurated seasonal nonstop service between Munich and Las Vegas on Monday.
Condor German Airlines' first extended-range twin-engine Boeing 767 arrived with 199 passengers Monday.
The Munich flight doubles the number of weekly operations Condor has to McCarran International Airport for the summer season, which runs through October.
In February, the company announced that on Fridays, the airline will continue its current flights between McCarran and Frankfurt. On Mondays, the airline will alternate Las Vegas flights to and from Munich and Cologne.
In previous summer seasons, Condor has offered just the Cologne service.
The Condor Boeing 767 jumbo jet has a capacity of 269 passengers. Business and economy classes are offered on the Las Vegas flights, which take 10 hours.
Condor began as a charter subsidiary of Lufthansa Airlines, then became a scheduled carrier specializing in leisure markets about five years ago.
