StumbleElko County Commission considers change in senior citizen center design

The commission will consider the plans during its monthly meeting on Thursday.
"Even the lowest bid was way above the monies available," Elko County Manager George Boucher said Monday.
The bids are under review and commissioners are expected to consider alternatives that would reduce the cost of construction.
Of the four bids received, the lowest was $255,000 above the $1.6 million available.
