Margy Althea Altizer, 94, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 27, 1905, in Virginia. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Alta Miller of Las Vegas; three sisters, Josephine Pruett of Virginia, Mary Tabor of North Carolina and Elizabeth Lynch of Florida; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Virginia. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Gordon W. Frink
Gordon W. Frink, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 1, 1929, in Mount Clemens, Mich. A resident for two years, he was an insurance agent, an Air Force veteran and a member of Edwards Dance Group.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; one daughter, Julie Quisenberry, and one son, Harry Frink, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Tom Frink of California; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Congregational Church, 1200 N. Eastern Ave. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Paul Joseph Gallen
Paul Joseph Gallen, 97, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born July 22, 1901, in Pennsylvania. A resident for many years, he was a tavern owner-operator and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Joseph R. Gallen of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
George E. Gregory
George E. Gregory, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1918, in Cedar Vale, N.M. A resident for 21 years, he was a hotel-motel property manager and a veteran of the Navy and the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one daughter, Karen Gregory Martin; two sisters, Bonnie Correa and Frances Lelm; and one grandchild.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
John Vernon Harper Jr.
John Vernon Harper Jr., 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Mount Enterprise, Texas. A resident for more than 50 years, he was a retired porter.
He is survived by one daughter, Sharlene Price of Tucson, Ariz., two sons, John V. Harper III of Tucson and Darren W. Harper of North Las Vegas; one brother, Al Simmons; one sister, Betty Simmons; a special friend, Doretha Cleamens; and many grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the LDS chapel, Lola Avenue and White Street. Burial will be private.
Doris V. Jones
Doris V. Jones, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 7, 1932, in Salt Lake City. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W.; two sons, Joel Curtis Hood of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Bradley John Hood of Rowland Heights, Calif.; two daughters, Casey L. Shockey of Vancouver, Wash., and Robyn Marie Fincher of Las Vegas; one brother, John Ruel Vombaur of Fullerton, Calif.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Richard Keiper
Richard Keiper, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Pennsylvania. A resident for six months, he was a traffic manager and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Jessica Wargo of Bullhead City, Ariz.; four sisters, all of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Bullhead City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Edith Marie Kinnamon
Edith Marie Kinnamon, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 25, 1908, in Minneapolis. A resident for 10 months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Kinnamon of Minnesota; three daughters, Suzanne Smith of Las Vegas and Kathleen Varner and Patricia McCullen, both of Minnesota; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Deane Robbin McCoy Sr.
Deane Robbin McCoy Sr., 35, of Las Vegas died Friday. He was born Feb. 28, 1964, in Fairfield, Calif. A resident for six years, he was a bartender for a food service company and a Desert Storm Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; two sons, Deane R. McCoy Jr. and Daniel McCoy, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Billie and Yasuko McCoy of Lubbock, Texas; two brothers, Derek McCoy of Dade City, Fla., and Philip McCoy of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Teresa Sowder of Redwood Falls, Minn., and Margaret Pratt of Bellevue, Neb.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Gail R. McLaughlin
Gail R. McLaughlin, 46, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 2, 1953, in Artesia, Calif. A resident for 33 years, she was a construction superintendent.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; one son, Byron J. Fore of Nevada; and three brothers, Rusty Fore and Ron Fore, both of San Diego, and Earl Fore of Sacramento.

Marvin Evan Renneckar, 56, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Massillon, Ohio. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired measurement technician for a utility company.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; one son, Edward Renneckar of Dover, Del.; one sister, Marlene Quinn of Boulder City; and one brother, Melvin Renneckar of California.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Helen Rye
Helen Rye, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Dawson, Ala. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Renee Rye and Mary Colb, both of North Las Vegas, and Nadine Moll of Salt Lake City; one son, William Rye of Phoenix; one brother, Bobby King of Boaz, Ala.; two sisters, Wilma Miller of Richmond, Va., and Audrey Barnes of Venice, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.

Daressa Yuvette Smiley, 31, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1967, in Indianapolis. A resident for six months, she was a city government paralegal.
She is survived by her husband, W. Russell.

Argelia Torres
Argelia Torres, 79, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 10, 1919, in Cuba. A resident for 29 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Eugenio; one son, Gilbert Torres of Taylorsville, Utah; one daughter, Gladys Torres of North Las Vegas; three sisters, Menelia Llanes and Andrea Hernandez, both of Miami, and Juana Maria Hernandez of Havana; five brothers, Mario Hernandez and Roberto Hernandez, both of Miami, and Ramiro Hernandez, Ruben Hernandez and Chiche Hernandez, all of Havana; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 10 a.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
