Contractors board revokes licenses

The Nevada State Contractors Board revoked two licenses from a Las Vegas company following a disciplinary hearing.

X L A Group, which held a residential and small commercial contractors license and an ornamental metal and prefabricated steel structures license, was cited for several violations of state law.

The Board said the company failed to pay for materials or services, failed to establish financial responsibility, had substandard workmanship and failed to comply with the terms of a contract or written warranty.

X L A President Richard Montenegro Cuen could not be reached for comment.
