Las Vegas author Maria Marinakis will sign copies of her book "Parenting Infants and Toddlers Without Going Nuts," 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Borders Bookstore, 1445 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
WOMEN'S HISTORY
Actress/playwright Elizabeth Perry will perform "Sun Flower," a play based on the life of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. Tickets are $10; $12 at the door. Call 229-6383.
ACTORS NOTE
Appointments are being accepted for principal roles in "West Side Story" through April 15. An open call for dancers will be at the Henry Le Tang Studio in the Commercial Center, off East Sahara Avenue, from 7-9 p.m. April 23 and noon-2 p.m. April 24. ART EXHIBITS
"Daughters of the Middle Border," an exhibit by contemporary and northern Irish female artists, will be shown at the Summerlin Library, 1771 Inner Circle Drive, through May 4; through April 20 at the Rainbow Library, 3150 N. Buffalo Drive; through April 27 at the Enterprize Library, 25 E. Shelbourne Ave.
Zigi Ben-Haim's sculptures and Robert Stone's paintings will be exhibited through May 2 at the Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. Museum hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Call 360-8000.
Artwork by students from Cahlan Elementary will be on display through April 18 at the Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave.
"Art of Tom Stephenson," an exhibit of Stephenson's recent oil and acrylic paintings, will be shown through May 16 at the Spring Valley Library, 4280 S. Jones Blvd.
TEXTILES EXHIBIT
More than 70 rugs, blankets, ponchos, belts, bags, garments and ceremonial pieces woven by natives of South, Central and North America will be displayed through June 5 at the Clark County Heritage Museum, 1830 S. The Japanese-American League presents "Strength and Diversity," the story of four generations of Japanese women, at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd., through April 25.

The Nevada Camera Club-Member's Show, an exhibit of the club's best black and white photography for 1999, will be displayed through May 9 at the Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway.
