Randy Richard Williams, 18, was arrested Monday night and booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and gang enhancement, police said.
The arrest came a day after three juveniles were arrested in connection with the shooting of Angelo Cisneros, 21.
Isidro Ornelas-Barajas, 14, and Michael Gerard Moreno, 16, were arrested on charges of attempted murder, minor in possession of a firearm and gang enhancement.
Because of the seriousness of the charges, they were booked into the Washoe County Jail.
A 15-year-old was taken to Wittenberg Hall for juvenile offenders on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and gang enhancement, police said.
Police say the shooting on Friendship Lane occurred after two groups exchanged words over gang affiliation.
Cisneros remained in serious but stable condition at Washoe Medical Center.
Reno Police Lt. Jake Wiskerchen said gang units were working overtime and days off have been canceled.
"We've got four or five gangs challenging each other," he said. "There's a lot of tension out there. We've seen it building for a week or so."
Police do not expect retaliation from Sunday's incident, Wiskerchen said, adding, "But we're prepared to deal with it if it does come."
