Federal investigators visit veterans care center
Tuesday, March 23, 1999 | 10:46 a.m.
The visit comes following a report by the General Accounting Office that the clinic was not meeting the needs of Southern Nevada veterans.
Problems cited were long waits for appointments, lack of services such as mammograms and magnetic imaging, and faults with the clinic's hiring practices.
