City looking for golf course proposals
Tuesday, March 23, 1999 | 10:45 a.m.
The action came after Greg Blaydes submitted an application to build a $5 million to $10 million course on Bureau of Land Management land near the new plant.
Blaydes is director of corporate development for Performance Research Organization, which runs destination golf schools and franchises golf learning centers.
Rather than approve Blaydes' proposal, the council voted to solicit numerous proposals for a golf course on the land, and consider all of them, including the one submitted by Blaydes.
