Letter: Move back lights at railroad crossings
Sunday, March 21, 1999 | 11:34 a.m.
Trains are being improved every year, but 50 percent of railroad crossings are the same as 50 years ago.
Too many politicians wear blinders over their eyes. Blinking red lights should also be about 100 to 150 yards from the railroad crossings.
Words of the truck driver, "I thought I could make it." Just to save a few minutes. Stupidity wins again, as always.
