Five Nevada airports awarded $20 million in grants

Sens. Richard Bryan and Harry Reid, both D-Nev., and Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., on Wednesday announced the grants, which are part of the Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program.
McCarran International Airport will receive $8.2 million while the Henderson Sky Harbor Airport will get $3.1 million.
In Northern Nevada, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport will be awarded $5.1 million and the Carson City airport will get $3.4 million. The Elko Municipal Airport will receive $554,997.
