Letter: Let supply-demand determine battle over slot machines

He is also concerned about equipment manufacturers insisting that casinos buy on the manufacturer's terms. How come anyone gambling in a casino has to play on the casino's terms?

Another of his so-called arguments relates to laws in other states. That is, the IGT terms of sale have been outlawed elsewhere. How does he reconcile the fact that other states impose a much greater tax on casinos than does Nevada. Will he strongly support the matching of tax rates?

If Circus Circus does not like IGT terms, why continue buying Megabucks? If I don't like the odds at Circus Circus, I gamble elsewhere. Just what is the percentage of participation machines in the Circus Circus empire?

What Sloan proposes used to be the rule in the U.S.S.R.: government control of everything the powers that were disliked. Wake up Mr. Sloan, this is still a capitalistic country.
