The victim has been identified as David Martin, 30. He was pronounced dead in the home of his mother, Melissa Gawle, and his stepfather, Charles Gawle.
Charles Gawle was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
Metro Sgt. Rocky Alba said Martin was stabbed after he and his stepfather got into an argument at the home.
