Letter: Nice track, bad treatment
Friday, March 12, 1999 | 9:53 a.m.
I am a disabled NASCAR fan.
Last year, my seats at Las Vegas Motor Speedway were almost directly above the flagman at the start finish line. Due to insufficient space last year, I was not able to park in the handicapped parking area but paid for valet parking in order to be a reasonable distance from our seats.
This year our tickets arrived late and were in another section. There was a note saying that there had been a computer failure and we had been moved. Three days before the race I received the track information brochure that indicated the new seats were a good distance from where our original seats had been.
I am still hurting from that long walk to my seat.
This should have been the second year of many years of enjoyment at one of the best designed and laid out tracks I have been to.
