Second victim in pedestrian accident dies in Reno

William Hayes, 61, died Thursday at Washoe Medical Center, police said. His wife, Patricia, 47, died on Wednesday.

Police said one victim was pushing the other in a wheel chair when they were struck by a car Tuesday while crossing North Virginia Street near Bailey Drive.

No charges have been filed against the driver of the car, Vanda Grubisic, 34.

Police said alcohol wasn't a factor in the accident. An investigation continued.
