Letter: Let public be the real judges
Tuesday, March 9, 1999 | 11:52 a.m.
I'd expect a vigilant press to identify those "two or three" District Court judges, because the observation casts an aspersion on the other 16 or 17 members of our 19-member District Court bench, most all of whom I know to be diligent and hard-working and who make personal sacrifices to serve in judicial office.
If the chief justice didn't identify the "two or three," please inquire, on behalf of your readers. We should know these things. The public is entitled to full value from its elected judges, and full information from its local press.
