SIRENS: SB337, O'Donnell. Prohibits use of siren by emergency vehicle on freeway. To Transportation.
HANDICAPPED PARKING: SB338, Rawson. Requires parking space designated for vehicles with side-loading wheelchair lift. To Transportation.

JUSTICE OF THE PEACE: AB86, Judiciary. Requires justices of the peace in larger townships to be lawyers. To Senate.

TAHOE SCHOOLS: AB413, Brower and Gibbons. Creates pilot program for community school boards for public schools within jurisdiction of the Nevada Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. To Education.
BENEFIT SERVICES: AB416, Ways and Means. Gives $8.3 million to benefit services fund for 1999 expenses. To Ways and Means.
TRIAL: AB417, Ways and Means. Gives $200,000 to Lander County for trial of Kyle Ray and Colby Becker for the murder of Kyle Ray's parents and sister. To Ways and Means.
RECYCLING: AB419, Ohrenschall, eight others. Provides a $1-per-employee tax break to companies that recycle. To Taxation.
IDENTIFICATION: AB420, Ohrenschall, Price, Manendo. Requires only one piece of ID to use a credit card. To Commerce and Labor.
POLICE: AB422, Claborn, Collins. Authorizing a sheriff to collect fees for providing services to certain cities. To Government Affairs.
REGIONAL PLANNING: AB442, Freeman, five others. Requires a local government within a regional plan to conform to the plan. To Government Affairs.
TAXES: AB423, Freeman, four others. Property tax exemption for the Nevada Nature conservancy. To Taxation.
