The software will allow introduction of new games without affecting machine functions, Innovative said, allowing simple, efficient customization.
The technology also allows the game's spinning reels to appear as a three-dimensional image outside the slot cabinet, the company said.
Innovative said it expects the regulatory approval process, which includes testing by Gaming Laboratories International, to take six to nine months.
The game should contribute to revenue by 1999's fourth quarter, according to Edward Stevenson, chief executive officer.
