John is retired from the Air Force and is employed at Nellis Air Force Base. Kathy was employed by the Del Webb Corp in Summerlin for 9 1/2 years. She is now a freelance writer and instructor in continuing education at Community College of Southern Nevada.
They have two children, David of Antigo, Wis., and Suzanne Packard of Oceanside, Calif. They have two grandsons, Matthew and Samuel Manney, and twin granddaughters, Taylor and Madison Packard.
