This is how the Las Vegas City Council voted Monday to spend taxpayer money:
$211,856 -- To Capriati Construction Corp. for construction of a waterline for the Doolittle Community Center.
$200,000 -- To U.S. Standard Sign Inc. and Allmac Associates for the purchase of blank signs and sign face materials.
$800,000 -- To Rebel Oil Co. for gasoline and diesel fuel.
$80,000 -- To Core Products for sign mounting materials.
$900,000 -- To Clark County for public defender representation of indigents charged with misdemeanors in Municipal Court.
$640,000 -- To Leader Industries for four medium duty rescue units.
$567,000 -- To First Inc. for one 85-foot ladder truck.
