Class offered in prescription safety
A personal safety class for seniors on prescriptions is being offered 2-3 p.m. July 6 and 10-11 a.m. July 8.
A pharmacist will present "Could I Be Addicted to Rx Medication?" at Senior Advantage in Valley Hospital Medical Center, 620 Shadow Lane. The programs are free for adults 50 and older. Call 388-4665.

The Senior Theatre Group will meet 1-3 p.m. July 6 and a Medicare class presented by Hank Raciob will be held 1-2 p.m. July 7 at the Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, 2075 E. Flamingo Road. Call 369-7911.
Free blood pressure screenings are being offered from 1:30-2:30 p.m. July 6, 13, 20 and 27 by Sunrise Senior Friends, 3101 S. Maryland Parkway. Call 735-5510.
Brenda and Richard Sinclair have formed a nonprofit organization, CCAP, to help patients and their relatives defray the costs of organ transplants. For information call 228-6656.
