Letter: LVMS: Wider is better
Friday, June 25, 1999 | 10:20 a.m.
I was at the last Las Vegas NASCAR Winston Cup race and it was a fiasco. Parking, overpriced food and beer, dirty bathrooms ... It took me an hour and a half to pick up my tickets at the will-call window. Now they think they are going to lure everybody back by making the seats smaller (Brian Hilderbrand's race notes, June 18). The single worst thing at all races is being packed in too tight.
I'll be watching the rest of the Las Vegas races from my 28-inch wide recliner.
