Halo Missy - Dueled lead and gave way late when 4th while claimed at Golden Gate in last, drops off the claim for southland debut, Black gets the call, fits in a wide-open affair. Value Play -- Aly Babe
2ND RACE:
Ordained Power - Awkward start, steadied and finished 4th in needed outing in last, 5 wide 3rd at 7-panels mid-April before that, broke maiden at this distance four races back, Nakatani takes over on beaten favorite. Mr Bulldog - Wore down foe late to win last, both lifetime victories from 3 Hollypark starts, drops a level and back to two-turns now, winning rider Solis stays for trainer Robbins, repeat within reach. Value Play -- Apollogetic
3RD RACE:
Allegedly Yours - Returns to races off 9 week layoff, pair of bullet drills from most recent three works, won on Anita turf three races back, draws good rail post and well placed, Flores returns. Andoya - Won at this trip on Golden Gate lawn in last, runner-up in 4 previous starts, in the quinella 5 of 6 U. S. starts, returns south and trainer Cecil employs Solis now, has been favored in last five starts. Value Play -- Tart
4TH RACE:
Lost In Paradise - No rally in last, outrun in debut before that, now drops to claimer, Solis takes over on Dominguez trainee, good post and well placed, respect connections on the drop down. Mister Really - 4-wide and didn't switch leads when distant runner-up at Golden Gate in last, debut 3rd while claimed at same before that, ships south for capable trainer Sherman, Ramsammy gets the call. Value Play -- Glowing Gold
5TH RACE:
Whirl No More - Even 4th when splitting field at Golden Gate off seven month layoff in last, won 2 of 4 previous lifetime outings, ships south for 23 percent trainer, Delahoussaye gets the call, good spot for action. Da Hot Affair - Pressed pace and held 3rd at Golden Gate in last, broke maiden in debut at Del Mar last year, decent Northern California trainer ships this one south here and gets Nakatani to scale, could get Hot from rail post. Value Play -- Regal Fan
6TH RACE:
Storm Crest - 5-wide runner-up when in need of a race in last, 3rd mid-April before that, continues with decent works, Delahoussaye got to know him in last, had race, good as any in wide open maiden claimer. The Wicked King - Stalked and faded from the rail routing in last, 4th in full fields in prior pair of outings, best finish 3rd at this trip four races back, returns sprinting now, reunites with Antley for this. Value Play -- Fireatdawn
7TH RACE:
Lady At Peace - 3-wide bid and daylight winner at this trip and course late-April in last, freshened with trio of works since, in the quinella in most recent four outings with a pair of victories, 2-for-2 at this distance, Gomez again for repeat. Inca Tern - Gate-to-wire winner at over this course and distance early-May in last, solid works since raced with a bullet 6-panel turf drill on the 6th, in the quinella in both U. S. turf starts at this distance, hustling bug boy Valdez returns. Value Play -- Aviate
8TH RACE:
Ballaco - 1st time starter by Conquistador Cielo bred in Chile, decent steady works for debut, well placed and good outside post, Delahoussaye sees enough to stay for nightcap graduation try on Palma trainee. Yeah Right - Finished well to outrun odds when close 3rd in last, wide trip 3rd before that, 4th in debut at Turf Paradise three races back, has improved with each of three career starts, Black back on Carava trainee. Value Play -- Night Verse
