Jimmie Mae Alexander
Jimmie Mae Alexander, 81, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 8, 1917, in Crockett, Texas. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired chef and member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Adolphus Moore of Las Vegas; four brothers, Johnny Gibson and Andrew Gibson, both of Houston, David Henry Gibson of Crockett and George Gibson of Puerto Rico; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Frend Befree
Frend Befree, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 22, 1910, in Romania. A resident for many years, he was a painter in the construction industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one cousin, Charlotte Spitzen of Kirkland, Wash.
Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Martion E. Benford Jr.
Martion E. Benford Jr., 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Fort Worth, Texas. A resident for 46 years, he was a cement finisher and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Willie B.; three daughters, Alice Dixon of San Bernardino, Calif., Dorothy Boyd of Las Vegas and Bennie Williams of Stockton, Calif.; two sons, Edward Taylor and Herbert Taylor, both of Las Vegas; one brother, the Rev. Frank Howard, and one sister, Sanolia Howard, both of Fort Worth; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Greater Carver Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Joseph R. Condren
Joseph R. Condren, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 29, 1918, in St. Louis. A resident for 20 years, he was an employee at the Sands hotel-casino, a World War II Army veteran and a volunteer communion minister at Henderson Convalescent Hospital and for the homebound.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
William A. Donahue Sr.
William A. Donahue Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 1, 1915, in Pottsville, Pa. A resident for four years, he was a member of the Musicians Union.
He is survived by two sons, William Donahue Jr. and Kenneth Donahue, both of Texas; one daughter, JoAnn Shirley of California; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

James Lee Frownfelter
James Lee Frownfelter, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Kansas. A resident for seven years, he was a program manager for a defense contractor, an Air Force veteran and a member of the Moose Lodge in Simi Valley, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Jeri; three sons, Richard Pearse, Jeffrey Pearse and Michael Frownfelter; two daughters, Brandy Weiss and Michelle Webb; one brother, Mickey Frownfelter; four sisters, Ruth Ellsworth, Norma Reball, Anita Meyers and Jackie Wilson; and seven grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Antoinette 'Milli' Giordano
Antoinette "Milli" Giordano, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1930, in New York City. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired can company supervisor.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; two sisters, Rose DiMaggio of Las Vegas and Rose McGee of Indiana; and two brothers, Sal DiMaggio of Orlando, Fla., and Ralph DiMaggio of Staten Island, N.Y.

George E. Johnson III
George E. Johnson III, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 27, 1931, in New York City. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired electronics engineer and a member of the Mensa Society.
He is survived by his companion, Hiroko Johnson of Las Vegas; three daughters, Dawn Mulkey of Virginia Beach, Va., and Diane Vanderslice and Denise Pletcher, both of Las Vegas; one son, George E. Johnson of Aloha, Ore.; his father, George E. Johnson II of Deltona, Fla.; one sister, Susan Hartdegen of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Robert Johnson of Charlottesville, Va.; and 12 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Grand Court, 6650 W. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Ray Lawson, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 8, 1928, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired musician and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; three sons, Ronald Lawson and Kenneth Lawson, both of New York, and Helmuth Karstadt of Newbury Park, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Theresa Imperati Lehman
Theresa Imperati Lehman, 87, of Henderson died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 26, 1911, in New Haven, Conn. A resident for 18 months, she was a retired executive secretary for an engraving company.

Leonard McRae
Leonard McRae, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 13, 1908, in North Dakota. A resident for five years, he was a certified public accountant for the federal government and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen McRae of Las Vegas; one son, Carl of New Mexico; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Adlie McCreary Jr.
Adlie McCreary Jr., 68, of Las Vegas died June 6 in Las Vegas. He was born May 13, 1931, in Alabama. A resident for many years, he was a prison correctional officer and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Vincent McCreary of Los Angeles.

Jim Nelson
Jim Nelson, 76, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Bradley, Ark. A resident for 59 years, he was a retired laborer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Maude; one daughter, Janice M. Manuel of Los Angeles; one son, Johny Johnson of Pacoima, Calif.; one sister, Winnie Williams of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Patrick Lee Juarez O'Boyle
Patrick Lee Juarez O'Boyle, 18, of Henderson died Wednesday in Lansing, Ill. He was born Aug. 7, 1980, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. A resident for one year, he was a student and wrestler at Green Valley High School.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Jan O'Boyle of Henderson; one brother, Steven J. O'Boyle of Schaumburg, Ill.; three sisters, Shannon L. O'Boyle of Henderson, Colleen E. O'Boyle of Lansing and Kellie B. Diene of Marietta, Ga.; and his grandparents, Albion and Mildred Schultz of Bremen, Ind.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Catherine Pariseau
Catherine Pariseau, 97, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born May 13, 1902, in Connecticut. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one brother; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Harold 'Pete' Pedersen
Harold 'Pete' Pedersen, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 7, 1921, in Franklin Park, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired cabinetmaker and World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Nancy Mayerhoefer of Las Vegas; one son, John Pedersen of Duncanville, Texas; one brother, Earl Pedersen of Massachusetts; one sister, Delores Bamber of Florida; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Stephen J. Povemba
Stephen J. Povemba, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1913, in Pennsylvania. A resident for many years, he was a paper hanger.
He is survived by one son, Joseph Povemba of Las Vegas.

DeVerne Unruh
DeVerne Unruh, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Pawnee Rock, Kan. A resident for 10 years, he retired as an insurance salesman after 30 years and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Robin Unruh of Moss Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Ira Van Walker
Ira Van Walker, 67, of Mesquite died Sunday in St. George, Utah. A lifelong resident, he was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Mesquite.
He is survived by two sisters, Verleen Bay of North Las Vegas and Vivien Packer of Orem, Utah; three brothers, Brady Walker of Orem, Brent Walker of Mesquite and Lee Walker of North Las Vegas; and one aunt, Carolyn Miniard of Las Vegas.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mesquite Ward LDS Chapel. Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, is handling arrangements.
Eleonore A. Wauters
Eleonore A. Wauters, 77, of Boulder City died June 11 in Boulder City. She was born July 4, 1921, in Belgium. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one nephew, Marc DeClitteleer of Virginia.
Visitation and services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Ann E. Werner
Ann E. Werner, 86, of Phoenix died Wednesday in Phoenix. She was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Detroit. A former Boulder City resident from 1979-1989, she was a retired accountant for a dental supplier.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Rycombel of Phoenix; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Frank Willsey
Frank Willsey, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for five years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a life member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and the Men's Gold Club in Sun City.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Elizabeth Giampaoli of Chico, Calif., and Debra Willsey of Forest Ranch, Calif.; one son, Frank Patterson Willsey of San Clemente, Calif.; two sisters, Jessie Allison of Memphis, Tenn., and Maxine Bartholomew of Exeter, N.H.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
